Do you charge anything to start?: No. Reader is free forever with no card required at signup. Plus and Household start a 14-day trial; you add a card only when the trial begins.
What happens when I hit the Reader cap?: Reader is capped at 5 AI dispatches per month and 50 over the lifetime of your account. When you hit either, the in-app banner shows the upgrade link. Your scenario + ledger remain readable; only the AI dispatches stop.
Can I cancel?: One click in Settings. Monthly plans cancel at the next billing date. Annual plans pro-rate within 30 days; after that, the remaining term runs to renewal.
Annual or monthly?: Annual saves about 33% on Plus ($144 vs $216). Same dashboard, same Bureau, same exports — just billed less often. Switch at any renewal cycle.
Refund policy?: Annual plans refunded pro-rated within 30 days of purchase. Monthly plans aren't refunded — you simply don't renew. Email support@investwiseway.ca if something went wrong.
GST / HST?: Canadian sales tax applies based on your province. Receipt shows the breakdown. We do not charge tax-exempt buyers (NPO + registered charity); send your exemption number to support.
Team / household plans?: Household covers two profiles in one ledger with pension splitting + survivor math. For three or more profiles, email us — we have a small-family rate.
What payment methods?: Visa, Mastercard, Amex via Stripe. Interac and PayPal coming soon. We do not accept crypto.
What if I just want the calculators?: Every calculator has a free preview — enter your numbers and see the headline answer with no signup. The full breakdown, break-even math, Monte Carlo, sensitivity tables, and exports are part of Plus.
